The Fun Times Go On - a New Game RP (private)

Many video game companies have been around for many a year, and some have been recognize as titans in their field. Bethesda, UbiSoft, Atari, Microsoft, Sony, and, of course, Nintendo, to name but a few. There was one particular company based in Japan, run entirely by women, known as Eagle Jump, which was not quite as well-known, but had yet to release a terrible game.

Aoba Suzukaze, the most recent employee, had certainly taken to the work of character design quite splendidly, and she had made many friends among the staff.

Her supervisor, Ko Yagami, had especially grown quite fond of her in the time since she joined.

Right now, Aoba was working on a very special character.

Her neighbor, Yun Iijima, glanced over at her seatmate's monitor and said, "That's a pretty cute design, Aoba-chan."

"Thank you for that," she replied. "I spent a lot of time sketching it out at home."

"Count on you to put in overtime," Ko remarked, suddenly materializing behind the twin-tailed girl.

Aoba giggled a little at that. She then was about to go to the bathroom, but didn't grab her security pass.

Hifumi Takimoto was the only one to notice, but before the shy girl could speak out, her kouhai was already gone.

I admit; I've never read the Archie comics, and while my parents and sister checked out Riverdale as a joke, I never bothered. Still, the concept of Betty and Veronica trying to compete for Archie's affection in this fashion is somewhat amusing.)
