"Dammit!" Cheren shouts, realizing immediately that his commands would be next to useless, "Liepard, feint, now!"

But it isn't any use. The battle ends swiftly, Cheren's pokemon twirling around and hurting themselves in their own confusion.

"That's no fair!" Cheren whines, "How could this possibly..."

Cheren looks down, and notices something. He'd thought he'd blanked for a couple of seconds, and now he knew why. The Watchog's confuse ray must have hit him too. There's now a gigantic damp patch on the front of his nice dress pants.

"ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!"

Lenora grins and shakes her head in amusement as Cheren and his pokemon succumb to the confusion. A low kick from Watchog and Take Down from Stoutland are all it takes to finish them off. At which point Lenora walks over and looks down at Cheren.

She does raise an eyebrow in surprise at his wet pants. After all she hadn't actually intended to hit him with the confuse ray too, but this did make things easier.

"Well that's that," Lenora says, and without another word she effortlessly scoops him up and starts carrying him towards the nursery. "Suppose I should apologize for the stray confusion," she says with a shrug. "But to be fair it did seem like you were standing too far onto the field. That can be dangerous you know." She walks in and starts heading straight for the changing table. "Now let's get you in your new "uniform" and I can finally fully explain the new arrangement, plus the few add-ons I just won." She giggles at that part.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't really thinking critically," Cheren says, seeming ashamed for several reasons, including the outburst, "I probably should've thought of that, though I've never been big into status effects. The trainers I get sent hardly use them, so they're not often factored into my strategy."

The moment doesn't seem real to him until they enter the nursery. The blood that had drained from his face immediately returns with a passion, heating it to borderline feverish levels.

"Wait, no, I can change myself," Cheren says, somehow still not getting that all of this isn't just for show, "A-And add-ons? The situation you proposed seemed bad enough!"

Lenore's smile softens at Cheren's apology. After all she knew the young man had the potential be a great gym leader with a few "adjustments". That was the whole reason she convinced the League to not out right boot him from his position.

However, upon hearing him start arguing and rambling again, Lenora rolls her eyes and picks something up from a small table, which she proceeds to shove into his mouth.

"Hush," She says softly but firmly as she pulls her hand back, revealing that she just gave Cheren a pacifier. "You've done a lot of talking today Cheren. But now it's time for you to listen. Now. I'm going to get you out of your wet clothes and explain how things are going to be from now on. You just keep your paci in until I take it out. Understand?" Lenora says as she sets Cheren on the changing table. Her tone isn't angry or threatening, but it also makes it very clear she isn't making requests.

Cheren knew that Lenora was being serious, but he also saw her as being reasonable. Surely the rubbery thing in his mouth isn't any sort of requirement, right? Deciding to do this in the most civil way possible, he slips the pacifier out with his fingers, causing a bit of saliva to dribble on his face.

"Look," Cheren says, exasperated, "I'm sorry but I don't think I can keep this thing in my mouth. Talking is probably the only thing I'm good at."

"Well first I wouldn't say it's the only thing you're good at," Lenora says, a soft smile on her face as she takes Cheren's hand and guides the pacifier back up to his mouth, easing it in. "But second, that's why I want you to keep it in right now. You never get better at things if you don't practice. So since you are so good at talking this is to help you get better at listening," She eases his hand off the pacifier, while using her hand to gently hold it in. Also her other hand reaches up and starts to stroke Cheren's hair. "So just keep that in there while I explain everything and take care of your clothes. I promise it won't be long and then I'll take it out and you can talk to me again. Okay?" Her voice is incredibly soft now, going along with her movements as she lowers both hands and starts to unbutton Cheren's pants. She seems both to be testing if he'll listen to her, but also very confident that he will.

Cheren nods. His body moved involuntarily as his pants are unbuttoned, but he tries to stifle it. Fortunately, as her former (and, he guessed now, current) Protegee, they were in close enough quarters for a while that she had walked in on him before, so it eases his embarrassment a little that this won't be anything she hasn't seen before.

Lenora keeps her soft smile at his compliance as she proceeds to undress him, dropping his pants, shirt, and eventually underwear into a nearby hamper. Her expression remains the same all through the process, after all just as Cheren thought she'd known him for a long time, and as a mother this was hardly her first time seeing someone naked and about to be diapered. She gently lays him back and picks up a thing of baby wipes, quickly wiping his groin and bottom free of any urine stains. Once that's done, she unfolds the diaper and slides it under his bottom, raising him by the ankles first and showing that she had no trouble moving him around. Finally, she gives a good dusting of baby powder and tapes the diaper snugly around his waist.

"There we go. All clean," She coos and pulls Cheren into a sitting position, before reaching up and taking out his pacifier. "Now since you were so good I'll let you talk, but I still expect you to listen to me when I talk and tell you about how things are going to work here from now on. Okay? Also how does your diaper feel?" Lenora asks, a playful wink on her second question.

"I don't really know what to say," Cheren says, sitting up and awkwardly hoisting himself off of the table, "Just run me through everything and I think we'll be good to-"

He's interrupted by both the second question, and the bulk between his legs. He stumbles over and falls butt-up on the carpet, his thickly padded rear on full display.

"Very," He starts, "Very restrictive."

Eventually, he stands up, waiting to hear the explanation.

It takes every ounce of discipline Lenora has to not burst out laughing and Cheren's fall or start squealing at how cute he looks. Fortunately the nursery floor has even thicker padding than the rest of the gym so she knows he didn't actually hurt himself.

"Well don't worry I'm sure you'll get used to it," Lenora says, clearing her throat and gets her soft smile back. "Now then Cheren, I first want to clarify, and for the record this was covered in the letters you didn't read, but you have officially been demoted from a gym leader and are now an apprentice leader under my tutelage. My gym in Nacrene city has been reopened and will once again be the official normal type gym of Unova. Aspertia gym is going to be changed to a different type of gym. One targeted more at trainers in need of guidance and basic instruction. Any questions so far?" Lenora asks. A part of her figures that if Cheren is going to lose his temper again it might be now.
