"Come on Catra, I know it's around here somewhere!" The tall blonde warrior grumbled to her companion as she pushed through another tangle of greenery. It'd been at least a few hours since the pair of cadets snuck out to try finding it. A sword with strange symbols on the blade, and a golden hilt.

Adora swore that it was real, she'd been having dreams about this place for weeks if not longer. She would never feel at peace if she didn't at least try to look for it, and she was grateful that her best friend understood that. Or, seemed to understand.

As they came into a small clearing, she recognized one of the rock formations and groaned. They were going in circles at this point, and between all the strange sounds and creatures occasionally darting around, Adora was on edge. The sooner she could find this thing and get out, the better.

"Are you sure this is the right way, Bow?" The pink haired princess dressed in her royal purple asked her companion as he led them through the depths of the Whispering Woods. Bow claimed to have found a sort of energy signature on a certain frequency... thingy... and that it meant it might've been some First One's tech they could use for the rebellion! While she didn't totally understand the how, she did understand the why.

However, she didn't expect it to be quite this far out. As the pair stopped a moment for Bow to check his tracker pad again, she used the opportunity to give herself a quick check. Glimmer's finger slipped under the lavender onsie and ran along the length of the diaper, noting where it was still dry or not. "A little wet... but not bad enough for a change..." She thought to herself as she sighed. She readjusted the crotch of her onsie to cover up the padding a bit better once more before she walked over closer to Bow.

"Any luck on a new direction to go in?" She asked as she tried to peek around him to look at the trackerpad.

When Adora had told her she was taking her someplace, Catra thought it would be more fun than looking for something that probably didn’t exist. She rolled her eyes as she went through the forest.

“Adora, you know I support you.” To an extent. “And I agree that maybe you saw something, and if it is real we should get it because you know, weapon. But what are the odds this is something you didn’t actually see because you only saw it after you crashed?” She asked dryly.

As Adora groaned, Catra sighed. “I know that groan, we’re going in circles, aren’t we?” She asked as she swished her tail back and forth.

“No, I just decided to lead us in this random direction for no reason at all.” He said with a smirk before looking back to his radar. “The frequency wavelengths should be around here. Also, maybe we should tell your mom about this? Just in case you know, it happens to be First Ones tech and we do something that sets it off?” He asked, already knowing the answer to his question as he put the radar back in the diaper bag.

He looked to Glimmer as she checked her diaper. He had known her long enough to know the faces she made when she actually needed a change. Good for him because stopping now for a diaper change in the middle of the forest would not be opportune.

When she asked him for a new direction, he looked back at the radar on his tracker pad before pointing. “Should be somewhere over there.”

"Come on, Catra, I know it was there! I just..." She sighed as she picked up a rock and threw it against a tree where it bounced hard and off further into the woods. Maybe she did imagine it. No! She was close, she could feel it! They wouldn't get a chance like this again for a while once Shadow Weaver found out about them both being gone.

With a nod, Adora turned to face her friend. "Yeah, we passed these rocks twice now." She tossed another stone at the rocks before looking around again. The forest was sending them in circles... or she really wasn't as good at tracking as she thought she was. They needed a new plan if they were going to leave before nightfall.

"I think it'd be good if we split up to cover more ground. You might be able to find more if you can get up in the trees some or something too." Adora faced Catra again. "We can probably hear one another if we yell loud enough, and we can meet back here in like half an hour if we don't find anything. And...." She took a deep breath and sighed before looking down at her hands as she clenched them for a moment, "I'll drop it if we don't find it. Okay?"

"Uggh..." Glimmer grunted as she crossed her arms in a huff. She knew he was teasing, but it was so exciting! How long would this take? "Come on, Bow! You know what she'd say if we told her. 'It's too dangerous!' or 'We have more important matters to attend to.' or then she'd have one of her guards do it or something!" She groaned as she rolled her eyes.

Glimmer's annoyed expression quickly shifted to excitement once again as he gave a new direction. "Yes! Here we go, Bow! My mom is going to be so excited when we find... whatever this is... and bring it back!" She tugged on his forearm a bit to try hurrying him along, even though he could walk faster than her while still carrying her diaper bag.

Catra sighed as she watched her friend get angrier and angrier. “Look, there’s no shame in admitting you imagined it. Accept for how mad I’m going to be that we wasted our time here.” She joked.

“That what I’m saying, we should go now if we don’t want to get caught by Shadow Weaver.” She said worriedly. While she didn’t like her, she could definitely screw her over.

She paused as she heard her friends idea before sighing. “Okay, I will begrudgingly go along with this, if only to get out of this wacky place.” She said as she climbed upwards. “We meet back here in thirty!” She said as she headed above the foliage.

Bow smirked. “She wouldn’t really be wrong about that. Getting an alliance with those Princesses wouldn’t be so bad.” He said as he thought about the war effort. “And this place isn’t exactly the safest with how close it is to the Horde base. Even if it is still a ways from it.” He said before he was yanked forward.

“Hey stop it!” He said with a grin. “I don’t want to accidentally drop your supplies!” He said as he properly zipped up the bag.

Adora was worried for a moment that Catra might push back too hard, but gave her a smile as she agreed to the new plan. She approached the magicat to give her a playful nudge on her shoulder before she headed off and up, "Yeah, back here in 30. Whoever finds it gets an extra grey ration." She called out to Catra before she turned to head off in the opposite direction she was headed.

While part of her hoped Catra could find whatever it was if she didn't, Adora worried what would happen if she did. Would they have to tell Shadow Weaver about it? Almost assuredly, but... how would she even go about it? With a shake of her head to force herself to focus, Adora pressed on through what appeared to be the least traveled through part of the woods.

"I know, I know, but we can do some good on our own too! Like how we helped some of the surrounding villages, and she even sent us there first!" Glimmer recalled, though they didn't exactly follow Angella's orders... it still turned out fine! "Besides, you know it's too dangerous for the Horde to come through here. They always need their machines and bots to do anything, they'd never get through the woods with those."

Glimmer released him with a smirk of her own and a fake pout, "Fine, fine, but don't fall behind! And it's not just my supplies! I know you put some stuff in there too." She huffed as she lifted a branch up to duck underneath it and tried to hold it up long enough for Bow to go too.

Catra hissed as she was pushed before she jumped up through the foliage, hoping these thirty minutes would go quickly as she heard the bet. “You’re on!” She said happily and competitively. Well now she had to find something!

As soon as Catra left, a sort of… pull would be felt by Adora. As if something was pulling her towards it. And it wouldn’t be malicious or anything. As if it was calling to her, which it was.

“I think she intended for us to stay near the villages.” Bow reasoned with a smirk as he followed her. “And if the Horde followed logic then they wouldn’t attack anyone in the first place.” He said with a smirk.

Bow smirked as he went past the branch. “But with how many you go through it’s better safe than sorry.” He teased as they approached the signal. “Alright, it’s just past this bush.”

Adora paused and blinked to herself as she put one hand to her head, and with her other she reached out to support herself against a tree. "Huh?" She squinted her eyes and looked around. Was there... a voice? Or was she imagining things. Either way, there wasn't a particular reason to go any other way, so she began to follow along to whatever this feeling was.

She reasoned it might've been her intuition somehow guiding her along. After all, she wasn't magical like those infantile princesses. They were attacking so many villages and playing with powers like it was nothing. She grit her teeth as she hurried along, pushing the thought of fighting the princesses out of her head for now.

"Well if we're by the villages, she pretty much implied we were to help fight the Horde if they ever showed up! We can't just keep running all the time." She reasoned back with him. This was far from the first time the two had likely had this sort of conversation, but she always spoke up on it when she could.

Glimmer could feel her cheeks twinge a bit at the mention, "Bow! You know I don't go through that many, unless I go through all my magic..." She mumbled. He would know better than her how many she went through, given he practically always changed her. It wasn't that she couldn't change herself, but more... "Wait, really?!?" She gasped and bounced up and down a moment before she hurried ahead towards it, "What do you think it is, Bow?" She asked as she trudged her way over the bush.

Adora would go through the bush to see something amazing right in front of her. It was a sword, embedded in the ground with vines on it. The light hit it in a way that made it sparkle just right.

‘For the Honor of Grayskull’ A voice would speak into her ear before disappearing, seemingly having been spoken from the sword. Every instinct in her told her to touch it, to pick it up, to wield it.

As she got right in front of it however, bushes would rustle from near the sword, if anything wanted to happen it would have to happen quickly.

“It could be anything!” A male voice said excitedly before it took a teasing tone. “Maybe it’s a training potty?” He asked with a joking tone, clearly having not meant it.

"Woah..." Adora muttered to herself as she stepped through the bush and noticed the sword for the first time in person. It was real! She instinctively reached a hand out towards it as she approached. That voice was there again. "Greyskull?" She thought to herself. That hadn't been in any of the Horde training. What could it mean?

It must have been here a while it is grown vegetation over it like this. Adora began to wonder again how it was communicating in general, let alone with her. That didn't last long though, as she heard movement from the tree line. Someone was coming! Here? Now?? She cursed and ran over next to the sword, determined to not let this chance slip her by. This overwhelming urge simply wouldn't let her anyway. With one hand on the grip of the sword, she began to pull it out.

It stuck fast though, or so she thought. Various images of places and people she didn't recognize began to flood through her head. Adora grit her teeth and fought to keep her eyes open. She could see two figures begin to emerge from the bushes. Adora needed this thing out, now.

The voice echoed those same words again. Growing frustrated and desperate, Adora yanked as hard as she could while yelling at the top of her lungs "For the honor of Greyskull!". With any luck, Catra might've heard her and know to come.

However, what Adora couldn't have guessed was that she began to change in a brilliant flash of light. Quite drastically! She grew a few feet, and could feel her muscles bulge and tone out. Every scrape and scratch she accumulated while in the woods seemed to be instantly healed as she couldn't feel them anymore. The sword felt heavy a moment ago, but now felt almost like an extension of herself.

While Adora was unable to see herself during the process, by the time it finished, she realized she was taller. As she began to examine herself, she realized two more things. She was no longer alone, and she felt her legs growing warm and wet as she began to have an accident. This all caused her to drop the sword in shock and fall to the ground, her mind spinning.

[Neran]

Catra was searching the forest from above before she saw a bright light, then another, from below. “What the?” She said before she headed towards it. When she got there, she saw Adora on the ground with… wet pants? “Seriously Adora?” She said as she tried to hold back a laugh.

Before she noticed they had company. And she laughed at what the pink haired girl was wearing. “Seriously?!” She said as she full on laughed at what she was wearing.

Bow widened his eyes as he momentarily saw the giant version of the horde girl, but played it off as his imagination. He then turned to the magicat and widened his eyes before he grabbed the sword. “Glimmer we need to go now!” He said urgently as he took her hand.

Two horde soldiers in one place usually meant more. And they had a village to protect.
