"I suppose it's kind of hard to argue that from your perspective," Luz says with a shrug, while shifting Odalia over her shoulder and starting to pat her back. "But you know, this could pretty much be your one and only chance to try and patch things up with Amity. Even if we don't turn you in once we get back to the Boiling Isles...she's, well even more done with you than before. But maybe this can give you two a chance to finally reconcile. I mean, do you really like having your own daughter hate you?"

Odlia: it's not my fault she hates me she just doesn't have what it takes to be on top of the world.

She said clearly still stubborn before suddenly burping and spitting up like a baby even getting it in Luz's hair

"Uh she graduated with top honors in Abominations, has created some of the most advanced vehicles the Boiling Isles has ever seen, discovered over 50 lost books and artifacts," Luz continues to list off Amity's accomplishments as she wipes her shoulder off having had a towel ready. "...and on top of all that she's won the Bonesborough Brawl five times. What exactly do you define as "top of the world"? I mean you should be proud of her."

Odlia: oh sorry for not being proud of a traitor!

She said with spit up on her chin and looked annoyed

"A traitor? A traitor to who exactly? The "emperor" who wanted to kill everyone, including you," Luz says raising an eyebrow as she wipes Odalia's mouth. "Also if you mean she was a traitor to you, I think it's fair to say that you betrayed her first, and her siblings, and your husband."

Odalia: everything I did was for the best of my family it's not my fault if they didn't appreciate it!

Luz rolls her eyes, unable to tell if this is Odalia being affected by the island...or just her being herself.

"So helping a bloodthirsty witch hunter that wanted to kill everyone, including you and your family, was best for them?" Luz asks raising an eyebrow, while also moving Odalia back to her lap

"You would have if you'd just listened to Amity," Luz says, but also starts to smile again. "But mami's proud of you to finally admit you made a mistake. That's a good first step." Luz smiles and stands up, nuzzling Odalia a bit. "Now why don't we go get you in some comfy clothes? Not that you aren't a cutie in just your diapy." Luz giggles, carrying Odalia towards her nursery.
